Born and raised in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, I've spent my career in the IT industry. At school I took a keen interest in the Internet and it was here I started my personal blog, ImAFish. Over a decade later the website is still going strong.

In 2003 I set up a web hosting company whilst at University, Switchweb, provides low cost, quality PHP/MYSQL web hosting. I graduated from Coventry University in 2006 with a first class honours degree in Computer Science.

I'm now a Director of the award winning Information Solutions Ltd, a company that delivers software and hardware support services to a range of businesses and non-profit organisations.

Core services include:

    • Helping companies manage and develop their IT infrastructure.
  • Managing day to day technical issues either remotely or onsite.
  • Keeping them up-to-date with the latest technologies and security measures.

I also set up and run a successful website development company, The Web Orchard, that has built a reputation for developing quality websites for many local businesses within Shropshire. In recent years this has expanded nationally and internationally, such as building websites that service emerging markets in Iraq and Libya. Such has been the keen interest in these websites that the Iraq website alone continues to record over 150,000 visits per month.

My recent projects include Love Shrewsbury, which aims to provide local news and events. This website has been developed to help promote the region, which has achieved success by creating local involvement through encouraging local bloggers and businesses to contribute.

I also run the tech blog 12stix. In 2010 I published my first book, Travel Photography showcasing some of my photography from around the world.
